Joan Aitken travelled from Yorkshire England and has been employed by Dr. Tenaschuk for over 30 years.
The voice and office manager for Laurier Dental, Joan is the proud mother of two sons and a daughter. In addition to working for Laurier Dental, Joan has been the Executive Secretary for the Halton Peel Dental Association (Canada’s Largest Dental Component Society) and is affectionately known as “mom” by many of the member dentists.
Joan was recently honoured by the Ontario Dental Association, receiving the Aileen Durham Award for dedication and contribution to the dental profession by a non dentist. Joan is the first award recipient from a Component Society of the Ontario Dental Association in 150 years.
She welcomes all patients, new and old to Laurier Dental and is committed to providing excellence in ongoing patient service.
